Our aim is to promote the extraordinary value of salt pans. Salt Pans are an important wetland habitat with great diversity of birds. The Nin Salt Pans are one of a few wetland habitats at the Croatian coast. Tidal areas in the Mediterranean are globally endangered habitats and are critically endangered in Croatia. These areas are home to a lot of plant species and invertebrates. Some birds are dependant on these areas as they feed there.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a pair of binoculars if you own one.
