Online Presentation of the “Mosaic of LIFE” Project

 7 November 2025 | 10:00 AM | Zoom Platform

Following the successful first public presentation in Puljani, we are delighted to invite you to join us for the online presentation of the “Mosaic of LIFE” project, dedicated to conserving and restoring the unique mosaic Mediterranean landscape.

The mosaic Mediterranean landscape has been shaped by millennia of coexistence between people and their domestic animals in karst areas. It is an exceptionally rich environment where cultural heritage intertwines with biodiversity. However, this unique landscape is increasingly threatened due to the decline in traditional agriculture and livestock farming, resulting in grasslands becoming overgrown. This is why we launched the five-year “Mosaic of LIFE” project, implemented together with our partners, to restore at least 560 hectares of grasslands and improve management on an additional 1,020 hectares.

During the online presentation, you will learn what the project includes, which activities we plan to carry out, what results we expect in the next five years, and how you can get involved, exchange experiences, and contribute to preserving the Mediterranean landscape.

The presentation is open to representatives of local and regional authorities, nature conservation experts, farmers, livestock breeders, hikers, hunters, and all citizens interested in nature conservation and sustainable development.

Join us and learn more about preserving the unique mosaic of our nature and tradition!
