At 8 a.m. we invite you to join our birdwatching tour and find out more about our feather neighbours! If you have ever wondered whose birdsong do you hear in your backyard or balcony, this is a great opportunity to find it out. The tour will be guided by our former trainee James Jackson.
Biodiversity represents all living beings present in an environment. Plants and animals bloom and live everywhere around us, sometimes even without being noticed. To celebrate the International Biodiversity day, from 10 a.m. join us for bingo of a new kind. The goal: find the natural elements present on a bingo grid by observing the nature surrounding us. Open the eye, some elements are well hidden…

We are meeting at the east entrance of Park Maksimir, by the entrance for ZOO employees, on Fakultetsko dobro street, Zagreb, on Saturday at 8 a. m. (see the map). Birdwatching tour is going to last for 2 hours, and immediately after, at 10 a.m. we start with the bingo. Feel free to join us later or leave earlier if you like. The event is free of charge, open for everyone, experts and beginners alike.

We have a few bird guide books and binoculars, but if you have your own feel free to bring them with you. All equipment is disinfected and ready for use.
