State institute for nature protection annually organizes meeting of nature conservation departments of public institutions which runs protected areas (e.g. nature parks, national parks, etc.). This year, meeting will take place in Omiš and BIOM representatives will give two lectures. On 17th October 2012 Ivana Selanec will present Balkan Snow Mole project as part of initiative for karst protection and day after Ivan Budinski will give lecture on fires and their connection with Mediterranean biodiversity.
