Become a member and join Biom’s flock! The support of our members allows us to continue working together towards our shared goal – the conservation of biodiversity for the benefit of nature and society as a whole!

The more of us there are, the stronger our voice for nature becomes. Biom’s flock connects people who share a love of nature and a desire for positive change. A large membership base strengthens our community and enables us to fight more effectively for a sustainable future.

Anyone who shares our values, vision, and mission can become a member of Biom, and is welcome to regularly support Biom’s work through the annual membership fee. It doesn’t matter what you do or how much time you have – every contribution counts!

What does membership bring you?

• Participation in special educational and fun activities – through interesting lectures on nature conservation topics, informal gatherings, and the annual field trip where we watch birds together and enjoy nature.
• Invitations to volunteer and citizen science activities – such as the Ornithological Camp on Učka, rook and eagle-owl counts, International Waterbird Census…
• A monthly newsletter “Biom’s Flock” with news and useful information.
• An annual membership package with small tokens of appreciation – our magazine A Glimpse into the Wild, a membership card, and a badge.
• A 15% discount on the book Birds of Croatia and Europe if paid via bank transfer and collected at Biom’s office.

How to join or renew your annual membership?

Step One – Application Form

•  If you’re a new member – welcome! – please fill in the application form with your personal details.
• If you are already a member and are simply renewing your membership, you don’t need to fill in the form again unless your personal details (such as address or e-mail) have changed. In that case, you can either update the form or simply send us the new details at clanovi@biom.hr.
• If you are choosing a family membership, please fill in an application form for each family member who wishes to join. If children do not have their own e-mail address, please send their basic information (name, surname, OIB/personal identification number, date of birth) to clanovi@biom.hr.

Step Two – Payment

•  You can pay your membership fee via internet banking, postal order, at a bank, or in cash at Biom’s office in Zagreb.

 Regular – 20 EUR

Reduced – 10 EUR

Family – 30 EUR

Platinum – minimum 60 EUR

Step Three – Payment Confirmation

The final step is to send us a digital payment confirmation or a copy of the payment slip by e-mail (clanovi@biom.hr) or by post (Udruga Biom, Čazmanska 2, 10000 Zagreb).

… and that’s it! Your membership is valid from the moment of payment until the end of the calendar year. Within two weeks you can expect our welcome e-mail with further information.
