ASSOCIATION BIOM is looking for a SKIPPER (Speed boat driver) – B CATEGORY

• THE WORK INCLUDES:
– Taking the research team (1 to 6 persons) to islands of the Lastovo Archipelago during days and sometimes at night while waiting there for as long as the research team needs to do their job
– Regularly cleaning the boat and engine
– Taking the boat for 2 to 3 maintenance trips to Korčula and Split

• ENGAGEMENT OF 85 DAYS* DURING THE FOLLOWING PERIODS FROM FEBRUARY TO OCTOBER 2022 (minor changes possible due to weather conditions):
– 21.02 to 07.03
– 21.03 to 05.04
– 25.04 to 08.05
– 23.05 to 26.05
– 13.06 to 26.06
– 09.07 to 19.07
– 20.09 to 01.10
* SHORTER ENGAGEMENT CAN BE DISCUSSED

• BOAT IS PROMARINE MANTA 680 WITH 147KW SUZUKI DF200 TX ENGINE

• IF NEEDED, ACCOMMODATION ON LASTOVO PROVIDED IN ZAKLOPATICA TOGETHER WITH THE RESEARCH TEAM

• SKIPPER SHOULD HAVE:
– Flexible work attitude during working days and/ or weekends
– Experience in approaching rocky shores with boat (to drop the research team)
– Basic communication skills in English
