Project summary

Fundraising is a key element of organisational resilience and long-term sustainability. This grant will support our organisation in developing and strengthening a fundraising strategy, helping us to think strategically and proactively about our approach while testing new activities and methods.

This grant is an important opportunity as our organisation has limited experience in fundraising. We will explore our potential to engage small donors and run digital campaigns. Support will be used to build our internal capacity for fundraising and to pilot an “Individual Donors Fundraising Scheme,” giving supporters a clear way to contribute to nature conservation and biodiversity protection through financial support of our activities.

An essential step will be the employment and training of a fundraising officer, particularly in storytelling, along with obtaining technical support (CRM tools, website upgrades, etc.) for future efforts. We see it as crucial to strengthen our skills and tools for quality communication with individual donors and to secure their long-term support.

The grant will also help us educate staff and develop a strategic approach to appeals and calls for action tailored to specific audiences. Most importantly, it will increase our ability to use modern communication tools, including storytelling, content creation, visuals, and animations.

  • Launch and test a pilot campaign, followed by evaluation and adaptation
  • Final launch of the program with active promotion and engagement

Through these steps, we will establish the foundations for effective and sustainable fundraising, while building stronger connections with individual supporters.
