NATURA MANMON project is designed to provide support to the Republic of Croatia in preparation for implementation of the EU Birds and Habitats Directives. By the date of official accession to the EU, Croatia must have a network of nature conservation sites in place that will ensure preservation of habitats, plants, birds and other animals.
First workshop on bird monitoring and was held on 30th and 31st October. Representatives of the Institute of Ornithology, SINP and NGOs active in field of bird conservation attended the workshop. All BIOM employees participated in workshop.
