As part of the project “Golden Jackal Expands its Range”, at the end of November, we visited North-east part of Croatia (Baranja). Main goal was to record territorial groups of golden jackal in the area of Nature park Kopački rit. Colleagues from Slovenia (Biology Student’s Society of Slovenia from University of Ljubljana, Dinaricum Society) , Karlovac (Karlovac University of Applied Sciences) and members of Association BIOM gathered, and with the assistance of park workers checked area surrounding park Kopački rit. Except we recorded several dozen golden jackal groups, we enjoyed all the wildlife beauties of Kopački rit. We thank managers and workers of park for their hospitality and help.
