Golden Jackal Expands its Range – join us!

The activities of the project Golden jackal expands its range are in preparation… This time in Croatia, Vransko jezero and Lonjsko polje! Project is initiated by the Biology Student’s Society of Slovenia from University of Ljubljana, Dinaricum Society and Association BIOM is Croatian partner at the project. It is co-financed by Slovenian Student Union (SLO).

The aim of the project is to encourage biology students to get involved in research activities and to stimulate international cooperation of biology students. This project is type of informal education, knowledge acquirement and experience exchange in the field of golden jackal ecology. New insights about golden jackal, its ecology, distribution and role in the ecosystem, based also on results from this project, will be presented to students.

Project includes field research and educational presentations in Slovenia and Croatia. This week we are planning to visit Nature park Vransko jezero and Lonjsko polje.
