Today we visited kindergarten “Bili cvitak” in town Sinj, where we organized a volunteering action as a part of national manifestation “Croatia volunteers!”, during which we made bird water feeders. We made bird water feeders together with our local volunteers and children coloured them. All bird water feeders were made out of natural materials. We put one water feeder on a tree in kindergarten’s garden and we decided to put four others in gardens of other kindergartens in the vicinity. This water feeders will provide refreshment for birds during dry hot summer months. Children will observe birds on water feeders together with other children from the kindergarten and they will take care of birds in their home gardens as well.
