Bird watching as free time activity and NGO BIOM were promoted in last issue (May 3rd 2013) of Globus, Croatian weekly print news magazine. Bird watching, uncommon and unknown free time activity in Croatia, is presented from it’s basics through interviews with ordinary people. Journalist interviewed seven bird watchers with various experience, from amateur hobbyist to full-time ornithologist. BIOM’s director Kresimir Mikulic was one of interviewees.
