8th Conference of the European Ornithologists’ Union in Riga, Latvia

8th Conference of the European Ornithologists’ Union was held in Riga, Latvia between 27th and 30th August of 2011. Conference was organized by Latvian universities from Riga and Daugavpils and Latvian Ornithological Society (Latvian national BirdLife partner).

Topics varied between migration, dispersion, telemetry, modeling, population genetics, population dynamics, forests management, conservation, evolution, energetics, parasitism, immunology, physiology, etc.

Among 500 ornithologists from 35 countries were members of NGO Association for biological research – BIOM with their works:
