3rd Mediterranean Small Islands Meeting was held in Bizerte, Tunisia, 11-13th of April. The Meeting itself is a part of PIM Initiative activities (http://www.initiative-pim.org/en/presentation). The PIM Initiative is founded to raise awareness about small islands in a Mediterranean, a habitat that is often destroyed by humans. Participants from almost all Mediterranean countries attended the meeting and among them, conservation manager from BIOM Association was the sole representative of Croatia. The meeting lasted tree days and offered deep intro into recent knowledge, success stories and future threats of nature conservation in Mediterranean area.
