The objective of the project is to introduce procedures to provide sustainable organisational growth.

Biom has been growing very fast and there is a serious need for sound organisational structure, including all relevant procedures, rules and policies related to human resource management.
Biom’s priorities related to people and premises are the following (source: QAS 2015):
- No regular appraisal of staff by their line managers
- Human Resources rules and policies, including health and safety, and safeguarding children do not exist
In this project we would like to focus on setting up the supporting structures for our organisational growth.
Biom will consult a relevant BirdLife partner who has sound organisational setup and supporting procedures related to human resource management.
The objective of the project is to introduce procedures to provide sustainable organisational growth.
The expected outcome would be that Biom has improved human resource management, which includes implementing human resource rules and policies, as well as regular appraisal of staff.
There are 5 main activities and related results:
Activity 1: BirdLife partner identified and its visit to Association Biom organised
RESULT 1: Knowledge and experience transfer from experienced BirdLife partner to Association Biom
Activity 2: Organisation of national HR training for Association’s Biom SMT
RESULT 2: Association’s Biom SMT has capacity to develop and implement appropriate HR management
Activity 3: Develop and implement regular appraisal of staff
RESULT 3: Performance review system used by Association Biom
Activity 4: Develop and implement HR rules and policies
RESULT 4: HR rules and policies applied by Association Biom
